Hello and welcome to ~SaveVMK, started by ~kiki-bozu and ~Ewika in honor of [link]

We are a club dedicated to the preservation of our favorite online game, Disney's VMK or Virtual Magic Kingdom. As you may have heard, Disney is shutting VMK down on May 21st, 2008. Thousands of players have been devastated by this news and now we need your help to save VMK.

How can you help? There are various ways:

-sign the petition at [link]

-participate in the campaigns at [link]

-make "save VMK" videos as many others have done

But what this club is here for is the Save VMK art! Any art involving VMK and the save VMK cause can be sent here and the leaders of the club will put all of the art together into a collage to be sent to Disney and other websites, news stations, and magazines to support our cause.

To join the club, simply send a note to us with the word "Join" in the title and watch us. Please support [link] as well, as we are here for them! If you join, you do not have to put our icon in your journal, but it would be nice if you could spread the word. A separate journal will be created shortly with a list of the members.

To submit art, join the club and send us a note with the word "Art" in the title and include a link to the picture you want to submit. All credit will be given to you when you submit your art.

And now for a few announcements...

~Ewika and ~kiki-bozu will be working on an icon and ID for the Save VMK club, but if you have something to contribute please feel free to submit it to the club and we may use it.

We hope this is not too much, but we ask that you please spread the word to as many people as you can. At the time of this writing, we have 12,668 signatures on the petition, but we need as many as we can get.

Lastly, remember to support VMK and Disney as well! If you write in to them, please remember to be polite. Rudeness won't bring VMK back.
